Don't forget Framinghammer and its variants! Definitely my favorite porter.

Yeah, you are on the East Coast my friend. Very close to the BEST porter in the USA. The only answer to this thread is HF Everett . You can end the thread here. This is the "must try" Porter that you are looking for. Its a flawless beer, it really is:slight_smile:

Hill Farmstead Everett is the most insanely delicious porter I've ever tried. It's outstanding.

I love hill farmstead beers. It's about a 3 hour drive from where I live. Last time I went I stood in line for 2 1/2 hours for 3 growlers

If you make it to cambridge at some point, Cambridge brewing co's Charles River porter is really really good. I'd also try Pretty Things 1855 EIP, which is a true hoppy porter (lots of bitterness with a great roasty backbone, as opposed to a black IPA which tend to have more aroma hops). The PT is getting pretty expensive these days unfortunately--I think I normally see it around $9/22oz, which makes it almost impossible for me to buy given how many other great options there are for less than half the price.

Victory at Sea is the best available Porter I've had (Never had Everett). I think the regular Framinghammer is really awesome too (hopefully they will bottle it this year). King Titus I feel is underrated too (maybe its the price tag?).

Definitely try Everett if you get the chance, but I think King Titus is really solid too
