    We are cracking up!
My neighbor says, can you taste the tartness?
    I said, " I think that's all I taste!"

Lmao! It's a sour stout! Lol!

Youngers # 3 Ron? Used to be one of my favourites back in the days when finding anything on cask was a bonus.

Scotch Silly was my first. FFF Robert the Bruce is probably my favorite. Very drinkable and very flavorful. I swear, all of my favorite Floyds beers are just their regular line.

I'm not sure what you mean here. My point isn't that one should or shouldn't enjoy these flavors, but that they don't belong in the style. American brewers started using peated malt because they don't seem to understand that scotch refers to the country, not the spirit. This isn't really a matter of opinion for disagreement, but a historical fact. Once you add peated malt, you no longer have a scotch ale. Sometimes you have something tasty (Adam), sometimes not (most American brewed "scotch ales"), but it is now something entirely distinct.

Technically a Scottish Ale - I love it when people say things like that.

Not had the current version, so I can't comment.

Younger's No. 3 is high on my obsession list. My next BA Mag column (which I started this morning then walked away from and drank tea for several hours) is about it.

I won't say more, because then no-one would need to buy the magazine, would they?

Backwoods Bastard and BA Big Sound are easily the best ones I've had.
