Hey BAs. I'm heading to Pittsburgh for a few days in October and just doing some initial research. I've found quite a few spots to drink good stuff to keep me hydrated, but I'm needing a bit of help with bottles in the metro Pittsburgh area.

Staying at an AirBNB in Beechview. If anyone has any helpful tips on beer it'd be much appreciated.

    Cheers!

The Brew Gentlemen (best brewery in town)
    Voodoo Brewing in Homestead
    Fat Head's saloon
    Roundabout Brewery
    Church Brew Works

Many more but that should get you started. All great

The giant eagle market district in Shadyside is the place to go for bottles.

Would there be any spots for bottles closer to Beechview? Not looking for anything limited or special, just a good selection of locals.

Best bet for that area is going to be Brew's Brothers in Mt. Lebanon, there's also the Giant Eagle Market District in South Hills and a McNeilly Beer and Dogs, but I would worry about freshness at the latter two.

While you mentioned being straight on drinking spots, you are very close to Hitchhiker Brewing (fill crowlers), Korner Pub (shot and a beer type place with eight-ish taps, frequently locals) and Caliente Lebo (happy hour pricing for drinking, but they'll also carry overpriced out of market beers)--it's worth checking each of their tap lists, due to their proximity to you.

Church Brew Works is one of the more unique brewpubs I've visited. That is my recommendation.
