Props to anyone who uses the chalky glue. And F you, South Hampton! I can't get those labels off with a flame thrower.

I'll second Sierra Nevada, Lagunitas, New Belgium, and Sam Adams. Woodchuck bottles also fall off in a warm water and oxyclean soak. The best are previously removed labels from bottles of homebrew though.

Yes, the Lag labels come off so easy I don't even bother with any other bottles for reuse anymore. Just a little soapy water and they are off in minutes with just a trace of glue underneath.

this is my process also, but I don't bottle much since setting up the kegging.. just fill a few bottles to hand out and I fill flip top/growlers to hand to friends and to take to parties

Deschutes come off fairly easy after an Oxy soak.

I recently just purchased 3 cases of bomber bottles because I was tired of trying to remove labels. It can be tedious work, I know. Now, all I have to do is just rinse out my empties and put them away until I am ready to refill them again. Plus, since they are larger than the 12 oz format, I have less to fill. And that's money we'll spent.

Lagunitas were my favorite but I wasn't crazy about how the shorter bottles capped. Felt like I wasn't getting as good a seal on the wider mouths.
Now my favorite brands for bottling are bells, FFF and new glarus (Midwest represent!). Seriously a whole new way to appreciate a beer- when you find the condensation has loosed the label without even soaking- halelujiah! but you know you're losing it when you consider tucking your empty bells two hearted bottle into your purse when leaving the bar because the label mostly peeled off in your hand while drinking. (That was me on Saturday)
NG labels seriously fall off, even more so than the lagunitas.. Harder to get though, even an hour from WI

I am interested in preserving the actual label to use as stickers for the beer fridge so..
    Easy:
    Sierra Nevada
    Lagunitas
    The Bruery
    Lost Abbey
    Pizza Port
    Ballast Point
    Dogfish head
    Kern River Brewing
    Most German beer

    Hard or impossible:
    Firestone walker
    Russian river
    Anchor brewing
    Praire Artisan Ales

+1 on the Left Hand. Easy peasy.

Honestly I've just been leaving the labels on. Sure it looks like crap but I serve my beer in a glass anyhow. I'm thinking about soaking a bunch in oxyclean today to remove the labels for my next batch, though, since I plan to give a lot of them away.

I've plastered the outside of my bags set with beer labels and coated with polyeurathane. It looks sweet. Plus I cut out some square "labels" from some Sixpoint cans and tacked them to the legs of the set, it looks cool.

More than once I've seen a bottle without a label in the mix-a-six section too, and without any graphic on the cap. You have to take a chance to see what you get.

Send your full bottles of Russian River to me, and I'll see what I can do about those pesky labels.

Am I the only one who reuses bottles with the labels still on?

You probably are. I've never read any admissions in this forum of anyone doing that.

I think about this all of the time. I believe Sierra Nevada uses minimal adhesive just for the home brewers. (maybe not) They're the best though.

Just got done removing labels. Not fun.
I don't even bother trying with the known bad actors.
