    Good point. I'm a bigger fan of quality control...

    I'll drink Port / LA all day so long as on tap.

    Sounds like a nice experience.

    Hop 15 bottles are still flat.

    In competition breweries enter their beers into all sorts of random categories. It's a normal thing.

    I won't argue that not having a tip line is stupid, and it is their own fault.
    However the point of my original post was more praise for the tasting room rather than the beer. I had a positive experience with the people there and wanted to share. Maybe I haven't been drinking LA long enough, but I haven't had a flat beer. (lost and found & mo betta bretta could have been better) but they werent offensive.

    I can understand some people's timidness, but all I wanted to do was share the nice experience I had there.

    Yeah - not sure why them being nice means everyone lies about flat bottles. Hop15 was a freaking joke. No carbonation, bottle 3" full of sediment. At least 10 other flat bottlies.

    For sure, I getcha. Reading back I seemed snarky whereas I could have cleaned it up a bit. I've just had so many bad experiences with this brewery over the past 6-7 years come to think about it. Too many to count.

    My wife and I went to the Lost Abbey tasting room a few years back and also had a great experience. We were about to order a sampler when our waitress asked if it was our first time there. We said yes, and she said, "Well, you have to try all our beers." And then she brought us a sampler of all their beers, on the house.
