The TABC isn't stopping them... it's the daunting task of distributing in this state that is the challenge. TABC would looove the amount of tax monies Bell's would bring in. With the "beer-ale" and "strength" laws now off the books (thank you Jester King <3 ) it's just a matter of money and the ability to brew enough beer.

    Two things are stopping me.
    1. The ability to convince my wife that traveling halfway across the country spending tons of $$$ on a beer road trip is practical.
    2. The ability to convince my wife to stay home alone and take care of the kids and everything associated with them for 2 weeks while I'm gone.

Yeah #2 is not easy to pull off.

Well i wouldnt say "no one". I found it was the only vanilla beer that tasted of vanilla, albeit, overly so. Im not such a purist that i hate on a company just for using extract. (not a great beer by any means imo, but not as horrible as some say here from where i sit.)

Interesting. I live in Michigan and there are two beers on that list that I've never even seen!

We have a customer who comes in from Plano every few weeks. I got him hooked on Founders. So he buys me free beers there whenever he's in town. I wish I could travel with my job. *sigh*

The Yazoo and Four Horsemen that are on the list are not Michigan beers and likely were purchased in Indiana.

Is Two Hearted readily available in Michigan? I have a friend coming in next month and would love some.
