I love this beer, is it my favorite? no. I have found that it is much better consumed straight from the can.

My problem with NN is that I cannot get it w/o putting a Buckeye on my head & driving into godforsaken OH. And I have yet to attempt that embarassment. But this weekend, yes, I am going to venture into the devil's playground to find what sounds like a beer that would make me smile like this

I respect your humble opinion. But don't bring that ratebeer.com mess 'round here. There's no need for blasphemy

Good point about the warming. The cask I had happened to be near room temperature and I was very glad of it. I could see though a different effect if it had been fairly cold. Without the big Nugget bouquet in cans or bottles that had set awhile once again the taste might be different.

That's a good point that often gets overlooked. It seems like it should be the first question asked every time there is one of these "I don't get beer-x" type of posts: did you drink it straight out of the fridge? Yes? Well, there's your problem .

I thought I was getting some extreme dipping sauce for my mcnugs. Wasn't dissapointed.

RELAX, your all good w/your 3 Floyds that so very few outside of IN even get a sniff of...NN shouldn't even be a thought.

I like it...didn't love it...but I like it. If you are buying I'll have another.

Good beer but nothing special for me. Different strokes for different folks.

Or to the Fourth Corner. And, I've been drinking Troegs since they opened. Ya think they'd do a brother a solid send some on out here.

The beer guy at Liquor Shed in town sent requests to some breweries asking to distribute to WY. Dogfish Head, Russian River, Stone, others. The RR peeps actually laughed at him.

Gotta make sure Philly gets that RR. Can't be sending none to no place out of the way.

Red Ales are quite similar in taste to IPA's. Ever have Cigar City's Tocobaga? Blind taste that and it would be hard to distinguish between Red Ale and IPA.

I don't know what's more disheartening...that the RIDICULOUS, rambling, nonsensical original post with semi-rAndom bold, underlined, and ALL CAPS words was made in the first place; or that the rest of you thought it was worthy of a 4 page discussion.

Yeah. I liked it more when RR shipped beer directly to the consumer. I do realize that the Wyoming population or lack thereof will always a deterrent. Big thanks to the out of state breweries that took the chance on us, though! !!

I've had Nugget Nectar before, but now I can get it regularly (for now) at my favorite store. It's powerful, delicate, delicious, and intriguing....a rare combination.

It's entirely possible Nugget Nectar has a problem with you, and the feelings are mutual.
