I recently spent 10 days visiting Georgia and sampling some of the great beers available there. I am from the Seattle, WA area and had a great time in the State. We spent 2 days in Savanna over St. Patrick's Day. Wow, they sure do it right. I visited the Moon River Brewery and had the Swamp Fox and Slow-vannah IPA's and a great cask beer that tasted similar to and Irish Coffee. Glad I was walking. I tried a lot of good beers and a few great beers. My hands down favorite was the Jai Alai IPA from Cigar City followed closely by Jekyll's Hop Dang Diggety. I wanted to try Creature Comforts Tropicalia but didn't find any. My sister-in-law lives on St. Simon's Island so I hope to visit the area again soon. I also got some fly fishing for Speckled Trout in and had one really good day catching.
