I'm going to Garden City / Myrtle Beach from Portland, OR to visit family. Where can I get some good east coast beers?

    Thanks!!

Gordon Biersch is on the very south end of Myrtle Beach, near the old Air Force Base. They have great food, and great beer.

Piggly Wiggly at Market Commons. Best place to buy beer in MB. They will have some Westbrook stuff and they have a growler station.

I will be down there in the first week in August if there are any PA brews someone in MB might be interested in!

Check out myrtlebeachcraftbeer.com for all of the area beer info you need!

And as above, go to the Market Common Pig!

Market Common Piggly Wiggly for bottles... I liked Fire & Smoke Gastropub for dinner and beers.

We're staying in Surfside next week. Pig at common market for take out beer, there's also a Pig on 17 bypass close to Murrels, never beer there but a big growler station. Great craft bars? None I can think of, Liberty Ale House is hit or miss at Broadway at the Beach.

I think the Pig Murrels Inlet is now a BiLo and no longer has growlers and a diminished beer selection.

I will be coming down the NMB tomorrow, depending on how this tropical storm hits. Any tips on where i can get Westbrook Mexican Cake and Gose? There is also a possibility of an Alchemist and other NE beer trade. Trying to figure out how much I will be able to fly down with.

I got plenty of Gose there over memorial day weekend. Good shop.

We're in on Saturday for the week, the Pig to check what's on Tao, but I'm bringing over a case of Heady, so I'm good.

Great recommendation. I went to Fire and Smoke for the first time last week and had a great dinner. Nice beer selection, including some good SC beers on tap. I will definitely visit again.

Liberty at Broadway at the Beach has been up and down over the years, but I think the current brewer is doing a good job. He had a Farmhouse IPA on last week that I really enjoyed.

I haven't made it to Atlas yet, but I've heard good things from reliable sources.

The Pig had a keg of MC in stock in May I think, he was thinking about July 4th weekend to put it on. I'm hoping.

It went in a few hours. What's pathetic is that I live less than 5 minutes from the Pig and didn't go get any. I was feeling lazy, didn't want to drop the money, and I still have another bottle in the fridge. Problem is that I don't have many beer loving friends and I didn't feel like trying to kill 32oz (that was the limit) of Mexican Cake by myself.

I managed to score a growler of said Mexican Cake on the 4th. Soon as it popped, Mike put on Orange Bliss. Shoulda gone back for that too but I didnt.
