Help! In-laws are in Myrtle Beach. They wont track down can releases, so what are some great locals that are sold in supermarkets? Thanks in advance..cheers
The only place you need to send them is Piggly Wiggly @ Surfside Beach. They will liekly be the best place for bottles/cans in the area. If you want to make it a little easier on them for what to pick up, and have fb, check out the Byrd's Beer At The Pig page. He does a good job posting pics of what they get in.
Piggly Wiggly on Glenns Bay Road and Business 17 is best bet for bottles/cans. The beer guy there has obvious good relationship with the smaller distributors, based upon selection I saw. Lowe's Foods on 544 has a good growler station.
Surfside piggly wiggly as others have said but you can pick up most Westbrook, COAST, New South and other SC and NC brews at any of the area Lowes Foods. Greens on 29th N. carries that stuff and Pavillion in NMB.
Gonna let you guys in on a little secret. Best place to get beer in MB area is Owens in pawleys island. They have more than piggly wiggly and it lasts longer.
