N.C. craft brewers affecting MillerCoors

    OH NO!!! How will I ever be able to find Miller Genuine Draft at every convenience store ever?!

    While this may appear to be correlated, we certainly shouldn't assume that it is causative. The statement "Most of this is due to the declining popularity of light lagers as beer lovers increasingly look for more flavorful beer" does not imply that NC brewers in particular are doing any direct damage to Big Beer, just that demand for fizzy lagers is down (very slightly) across the map while the number of small breweries in NC (as in most states) has actually grown.

    Nice to think that the growing craft beer scene in NC is possibly having an effect however.
