Nachos4two: Great Trader, Amazing BA

Wanted to give a shout out to Nachos4two, a simply awesome guy who turned a shitty situation upside down.

About a week or so ago, Nachos4two contacted me wanting to know if Rockford Brewing does bottles or growler fills, looking to get in on some of their Ain't Jemima and Irish Stout. We settled on trading a growler of the Irish Stout for some random Chicago locals from Pipeworks or Revolution. Unbeknownst to him, along with the growler of the Irish Stout, I also threw in a growler of the Ain't Jemima, a Parabola, an Older Viscosity, and a Bell's snifter from their website (sent separately) as extras. Everything's going smooth, FedEx picks up the package, it gets to IL and is about to be delivered, and then I get the dreaded Delivery Exception notice. Fearing the worst, I called their number, and they proceeded to tell me that the package was a total loss, despite heavily wrapping all bottles in thick bubble wrap and the Parabola itself being in the box. I was not happy, to say the least (it was really awesome of them to also proceed to lecture me about shipping beer, but I suppose they have to, even if I was REALLY not in the mood to hear it after losing almost $80 in beer).

At any rate, I break the news to Nachos4two, let him know everything that's going on, that I'd return his box upon receiving it, and that he can keep the Bell's snifter (which was thankfully sent separately) as an apology for this pain in the ass. He then proceeded to get his box back before it was sent to me, modify the contents, and had the following delivered to my doorstep:



Not only does he still send a couple of beauties from Pipeworks, but throws in a badass Dayman glass as well.

Nachos4two, you're a gentleman, a scholar, and a fucking hoss of a beer advocate. Thank you so much for being understanding and exceedingly generous in this otherwise awful situation. I salute you.
