Two bros are between $2-3. Lake geneva brewing as well. I don't honestly memorize these things, sorry.

Yeah, brewpub samplers are quite a bit cheaper than 3$ for 3oz. Only place I see with that kind of pricing is the Bad Apple where some beers you can get at a dollar per ounce.

Honestly it's sort of a moot point because I don't think I got a single 3 oz pour all day. After around 15 "samples" I was buzzed enough to call it a day and I mostly went for hot-day-friendly beers - not ABV bombs. It was, as predicted, $45 for all you can (or probably should) drink with a huge taplist. And even if you wanted more, you'd be paying 50 cents per each 4-6 oz pour, which is a good deal no matter where you are.

Here are my complaints from the fest (if anyone gives a shit??):
    1) Buying a Gen admission ticket from some dude outside of the gates for $20
    2) Chatting it up with some awesome local brewers and local brewery reps (Chet from Church St., Jonathan and Chris from One Trick Pony, Jason from Three Angels, Carson from Pig Minds and a host of others. All great dudes!)
    3) Drinking awesome beers (Doom, Central Waters BBBW, NvU, Coffee Break Abduction, BCBCS (yes, got in the VIP area during the last hour of the Fest and had a very healthy pour)
    4) Looking at hot ass chicks all day
    5) Getting drunk

Terrible afternoon if you ask me.

    This x 1000

Many more brewery reps than typical suburban fests. Doom, CW BBBW, BCBS, BCBCS, NvU, Coffee Abduction, etc... With unlimited pours. This was a good event. I enjoyed it thoroughly.

I knew coming in that this wasn't FOBAB...

Being this was the first time the event was put on, was exactly why I had zero interest on getting tickets. After reading above posts it looks like my instincts were correct.

So let me say that I did complain about the issues we encountered at the event. Josh from the event org sent me an email and asked me to call him. I spoke with him at length and he talked with me about the issues we encountered. He was very accomodating and descriptive and resolved my issues. Really good guy and happy that we spoke. He was able to make me feel much better overall and I appreciate his time with this discussion! Thanks Josh!

Well, if they had kinks to work out after their first effort, looks like they're ready to give it another try:

(Assuming that this event is to be planned by the same organizers.)

    One word? Try "OUTSTANDING".

$50 for GA ticket for unlimited pours* for 4 hours from what seemed like at least 100+ vendors.

note: technically, they were supposed to mark off or punch your neck hagger tag at each station but they might have done that like 15% of the time. No one cared how much you drank, I even had about 8 refills of my favorite sour and the marked me down ONCE

For me, I'm a sour and "pale ale" family beer drinker and lemme tell you what a wonderful afternoon for those areas. Had you paid the $50 and only spent the day at the Funk House and Rare Beer tents it would have been worth it (beers above for ONLY funk and rare tents) which was less than 2% of the offerings at the fest.

The best tent other than the two above was a HOMEBREW tent which was exactky what it says and they had 3 sour-tasting beers: an actual "sour"; a saisson sour; and a rasberry infused sour which was the best beer at the entire fest that I tried.

The longest line I waited in was less than 5 minutes.

I would definitely put this one on the calendar for July 2017. My buddy tells me they do a winter version in November but that it is not nearly as good.

    Enjoy!

BTW, the "talent" at the fest was unbelievable! Thank god for sunglasses and for Big Brother not to be able to arrest you for what you are THINKING about doing to someone, or else I'd be in Guantanamo for the rest of my life.
