Hey all - will be down in SW FL (staying in Naples) in mid February. Any breweries worth checking out? Will be flying in and out of Fort Meyers with plans as far south as the Everglades. Thanks!

Palm City is my favorite in the area. Consistently great hazies and everything else is at least respectable.

Hopsized is another solid choice. Lots of good hazies but their quality is not as consistent as Palm City in my experience.

Chubby Mermaid is new to the area. I have not been but hear good things.

Any thoughts on Ceremony in Bonita Springs? That’s walking distance from my in-laws…. and would certainly be a lift if it was decent.

I am not a huge fan but they get decent reviews on Untappd. Would be worth trying since you are so close.

They also operate a small craft beer shop out of their tap room. They offer packaged beer to go from a variety of breweries. The selection is small but very solid.

Thanks guys (so far) ... also should have asked for best place in Naples to get a decent selection of 4/6 packs for the house and any restaurants with decent taplists in Naples. Thanks.

On the way down from the airport, right off the highway in Bonita is Riptide Brewing. I like the space and always try to stop the n my way down for their DIPA (originally called Kracken for years till the rum co made them stop, then it was Quacken then plumbers quackalackin). In north naples on Pine Ridge there’s a place called South Street they have a fairly good tap selection. It’s a vaguely Philly themed sports bar/restaurant. Total Wine might have the biggest retail selection. Closer to old downtown the old Riptide location is now Kaleidoscope brewery. I haven’t been yet. There’s a Yard House in town. Naples is more wine and upscale cocktails kind of place.

Thought I'd report with how it went last week. I was down with the family so was in no way searching out beer. We stayed in North Naples near Vanderbilt Beach and didn't venture all that far.

Whole Foods in Mercato - Decent local and national selection.
Any other grocery we went into - terrible selection, basically only macro stuff
ABC FIne Wine & Spirits - On par with what was in Whole Foods. Pretty good local selection
Bone Hook Brewery - decent variety, nothing that knocked my socks off
Tap 42 restuarant - 15-20 or so craft beers on tap, many local ... hit the spot but nothing crazy interesting
Lee Health Stadium (Twins) - half decent selection. Had a Scotty's Bierworks Hazy IPA which was excellent. Also enjoyed Fort Myers Brewing High 5.
