Well you might have to pick that considering mostly everything else on tap there if I recall was a hazy IPA.

I dig Trillium's beers for the most part believe it or not. And I'd much rather not wait in a long line to drink out of a plastic cup amongst the chaos that is the Cisco Beer Garden.

My daughter was at the Cisco Beer Garden on Sat night, she said it was packed with about 300 people. She’s 22 and I would imagine 90% of the rest were under 30. Hard pass for me.

Wow - sounds like little more than a scene for tons of youngsters to get together and get smashed. Are you talking about the Boston location? Not at all what I’m looking for. Never been to any Cisco beer garden, and there are a whole bunch of them now, including in New Bedford.

Sounds like he is. That's the one I'm talking about.

And it's not even like it's a nice atmosphere either. It's multiple beer vendors (like you see at Fenway) pouring into plastic cups that I don't believe are cheap either.

And then there's scattered high top tables that you can sit or stand at. And they put down cheap golf course-green-like material over the concrete.

I'd much rather go to Fort Point or the Trillium Beer Garden...plus, they have lagers now too!

What’s the draw with Cisco? They must have some low-cost options to draw in 20-somethings with limited funds. If so, that might explain the appeal. Not that all 20-somethings are unwilling to go to expensive places.

Not really sure to be honest. My only guess is its location and also its atmosphere is more "college aged partying".

It's right in the middle of an extremely busy area, whereas Trillium is a little off the beaten path (relative to Cisco, it's obviously also right in the middle of the Seaport as well).
