anyone else have this problem? I picked up a four pack of this a few days ago and the first one i poured seemed fine, but the one i had tonight definitely had less than 12 oz in it. I checked the other two that I have and one of them isn't even filled to the neck. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm not planning on contacting SN over this, it's not a huge deal, just a little annoying. I know variation is inevitable but this seems beyond the margin of, what i would consider, 'acceptable' error.

though im not trying to discredit you, did you put it in a liquid measuring cup and measure? unless its way low (half fill) i would do this to check as the eye is decieving.

Just count your blessings that you have it and enjoy without worry.
we won't even be seeing Narwhal here in NY.

SN takes these things very seriously, they'll want to hear about.
Send a BM to SierraNevadaBill with the bottling code, he'll look into it.

Picked up a 4-pack yesterday, and can't say that they look like short fills to me.

My 4pk was consistant. Roughly 2 inches from the top of the neck. Nearly identical to the Founder's breakfast stout and Tyranena Dirty old man, slight bottle shape differences aside.

No issues here, perhaps you had the dreaded "evaporation"!!!

If all the bottles are the same size and some have lower fill levels than others, why would you need to go pouring your beer in a measuring cup?

Bc i like to do things very scientific and methodical. Remember, when you assume, you make an ASS of U & ME.

I grabbed a single, and it looks like a normal fill to me.

Sure, science and whatnot, but with liquid in identical bottles, you're already set up with proof that there is less in one or two than the others. It's not like 12 ounces looks different in 2 identical bottles.

I suppose the scientist would not assume that the bottles are identical.
    I'm not a scientist; I'm just sayin'.

I'm a scientist. I assume the two bottles are the same.

    Cheers!
