Im gonna be in Nashville in a couple weeks and wanting to try some Hot Chicken. Can anyone shed some light on the differences between the flavors of chicken at hattie b's, 400 degrees, princes, pepperfire etc. I've had the chicken at rockys hot chicken shack in Asheville nc and love it. Just trying to learn about what's offered in Nashville. Also, do any hot chicken places serve craft beer?
I would agree with both comments above. If you have to have beer, go to Hattie B's. If you want the best, go to Princes.
Thanks for the input. Can anyone tell me the differences between the chicken offered at the mentioned locations? ie saucy, pasty, flavor outside of heat, hot, too hot etc? What make Princes the best other than it was the first?
I'm not good at describing the nuances of food. Here is a link to a Facebook page dedicated to Nashville Hot Chicken. If you have time, you might be able to search on it and find some answers to specifics about preperation: https://www.facebook.com/NashvilleHotChicken
