Hey all...My boss is going to be in Nashville Monday and Birmingham Wednesday...He's offered to bring me back a couple beers...I'm trying to get the best bang for my buck! Any chance there's any CBS or BCBBW kicking around? Guessing that the answer to my above question is NO followed by a chuckle.....So, I'm looking for some good BA Scotch ales, BA Quads & BA Barley Wines.. I can probably get him to grab (2) 22oz or (4) 12oz. Any suggestions on whats kicking around? I checked some bottle shop websites but no one lists their inventories. I did see Scotty Karate at a fill station so that's a good option if they have bottles. Do either cities have Thirsty Dog Thanks!
No Thirsty Dog in TN, not sure about AL. If you're into sours Yazoo makes some exceptional stuff. Yazoo Sue is a very good smoked porter. Blackberry Farm makes really good farmhouse beers and of course there is Bearded Iris for NEIPA's.
@Hinda65 No Thirsty Dog or Bourbon County releases in Alabama. And the only CBS release I saw sold out. I listed some local beers and other cool stuff we get in Birmingham. I highly recommend Hop City bottle shop. thanks again for the help kind folks...I ended having him stop in at Hop City bottle shop in Birmingham after seeing @JuliusPepperwood recommendation that I could find praire and fiftyfifty..my manager ended up grabing me those and the guy helping him suggested I would like a bible belt and BA Dubbel...uh ya! So thanks again..i got some Awesome Xmas beers!
