I'm going to Nashville for 5 days next week in the downtown area and wanted to hit some breweries and was wondering what the best small breweries were there?
Looking for the hidden gems not necessarily the biggest breweries. Any help would be amazing!
    Cheers!

Near downtown, in the SoBro/Gulch area, there are three breweries within a mile of each other. Yazoo and Jackalope are right next to each other and are easy to visit together; Tennessee Brew Works has a really nice taproom less than a mile from there. In Midtown, you'll find Blackstone Brewery, which is a brewpub with solid, consistent beer. South of downtown by less than 10 miles is Black Abbey.

Strongly suggest checking out Yazoo and Black Abbey as straight-up brewery stops. Check their sites for hours as they can be limited compared to bars/restaurants. Blackstone is a great place for session beers and good pub food.

Would also suggest visiting Hops and Crafts in the Gulch (near Yazoo). They showcase lots of local-ish beer and offer a one-stop location near downtown.

If you have a car, drive south about 10 minutes (non-rush hour) and visit Craft Brewed. They also carry lots of great local stuff on both their high and low gravity sides.
