Plan to hit either Bearded Iris or Southern Grist. Staying at the Loews Vanderbilt. Any recommendations for anything walking distance from the hotel? Even a good brunch spot would be great. thx
If you want mainly ipas, then BI is your choice, if you want more of a variety hit SGB. Brunch places will be packed , Tavern is walking distance from you , but it will have a line 15 minutes before opening. If you want brunch place that seems to be a little less busy than most and has live music, i say hit up The Row, its good and for some reason isnt as busy at most places around town. Flying Saucer is also walking distance away as well for beer, but you dont really see BI or Grist beers on tap there ...

Rotier's has been serving burgers and comfort food since 1945. Across the street, Martin's BBQ just opened an outpost. Both are a 10 minute walk from Lowe's Vanderbilt.
We were right by you at the Aerton. Enjoyed Pancake Pantry and Biscuit Love but went to both early so no lines. A further walk for you near flying saucer is milk and honey. It was busy early but really good.
