    Hello!

My wife and I are going to be in Nashville the weekend of August 6th and are looking to find someone to meet up with and trade some beer. We are from Boston and have easy access to a number of great breweries that don't distribute to Nashville. I would be looking for the same; great beers that we can't get up here Boston. If you are interested in trying to work something out, or know someone who might be, please let me know.

    Thanks so much!
    Trevor

Good thread! I'm in the Chicago area and coming down in 2 weeks for the weekend: 3/3 - 3/6. I just don't want to be somebody's beer mule ( or Beer Bitch ), I'm looking for some good stuff to trade if possible. We have lots of good fresh Revolution, Pipeworks, Half Acre, Central Waters, Three Floyd's, etc...

Are you guys looking for local stuff or good stuff from distro?? That would probably help out a little bit so that we have an idea of what you are looking for .

I was figuring I will bring some Trillium, Tree House, as well as some others that I know don't get outside New England. I MAY even be able to get up to Hill Farmstead and/or get some Heady Topper. I could also get some of the Maine Breweries. Obviously, anything that needs to be fresh I will wait to buy until much closer to August.

I don't have any specifics as to what I am looking for. I trust people from the area to know what are the best beers you can get down there that we can't up here. The beers don't have to be from Nashville. I want to use this as a chance to try some new beer and bring some of the best we have down to a different part o the country.

We are only in town for 48 hours so I don't want to spend time going to bottle shops. I figure locals are a better way to go. We're staying in 12 South so I'll definitely check out Craft Brewed.

Since you are going to be FAIRLY close to the area, I would be looking for beer from Creature Comforts (Georgia). I haven't been to Tennessee in a year or two, but when I was down there last, there wasn't any earth shatteringly good beers in the Nashville area other than Yazoo.
