Hit up Craft Brewed on 8th. Best bottle shop in town and a fun place to hang out. Jackalope, Yazoo and Tennessee Brew Works are all close by with good atmosphere. I also like 12 South Tap Room, close to many good new restaurants. There is also Broadway Brewhouse and Flying Saucer downtown.
The night I as there the breweries were closed. Ate some good BBQ at Peg Leg Porker, they did have the local brews there as well.

We were there for a week in April. All the restaurants we went to had yazoo and jackalope on tap, as well as other beers from Huntsville/Birmingham area. In particular, Pucketts and Martins BBQ had several local IPAs on tap.
Yeah made the trek over to Yazoo at one point - was very good. Really impressed with the Sue and Embrace the Funk. Thanks!
