Natty Greene's?

    You've got it right. Natty Greene doesn't try to be Stone, New Glarus, Foothills, or Noda. They have a marketing plan, distributed through the big brewer networks, that makes decent brew, has good packaging, and carves a niche between BMC and the more "elite" breweries. They are more of a gateway beer, and I genuinely think they are good for the movement towards better beer everywhere. Also, it looks they they are working their plan well. I enjoy the pub in Greensboro and we're lucky to have them here. I might add that there is also room for more brewing ventures here that might appease those that chide Natty Greene for doing what they have successfully acheived.

    While they do not brew Sexual Chocolate as a year round brew, it does makes appearances at the brewery throughout the year as a special keg. Additionally, Jade is almost always available on-tap at the brewery and it is pretty damn good.

    Also, it is interesting that you edited @RedneckBeerz reply to exclude the portion about Jade and make it seem like he is just going to Foothills because of Sexual Chocolate (which would not be available to him every time he went).

    Just interested in where you found this bit of information - I have not seen any public information that lists amount of beer from breweries sold by state.

    Do you mind providing the data of which NC brewery sold the most beer & top 5 (including beer sold outside of NC)? Also, can you provide the top 5 NC breweries of beer sold in NC. I'm quite interested in how those lists differ...
