Hey gang, on the train from MDW for an unexpected stay in Chicago tonight. Staying on Grand Ave in the Navy Pier area, I guess. Not sure if I'll be able to hit some of the bars up north (the ones on Lincoln) so anyone have suggestions for something within maybe a mile or two from my hotel tonight? Thanks everybody!
Monks Pub for dinner/beers. They have a very nice tap list. If you prefer a brewery - ballast point Chicago, Cruz Blanca and haymarket are all close to easy other and a short Uber ride from where you’re staying. Binny’s on grand ave will have lots of beer to go if you’re looking for something in that vein.
Monks or Stocks and Blondes also usually has a solid tap list. That area is a bit of dead zone unless youre up for a short uber over to randolph
