My wife really wanted this as soon as she saw the web site. So I bought it. Any advice? How does it turn out?

The best way is to brew it on your system, following the instructions as best you can with the procedures you use. It will probably be OK, but the same kit will give different results from brewer to brewer due to water, equoement and procedures.

I brew and have a keezer. I meant to ask if it needed any tricks or hints.

brew it once and see how it turns out, and if you want to make adjustments to your process, you can do so afterward.

Not a drop of spring or distilled water left in NoVa. Anyone tried boiled tap water to remove chloramine with this recipe? I know with IPA it only works if you boil the heck out of every drop.

Use campden pellets to get rid of that. Just a quarter of 1 in a 5 gallon batch. I add mine to te mash.

Picked up 4 gallons while stocking on cans of yuengling beer at the supermarket (in case the power goes out and I have to drink warm after the kegs kick). By total chance the water truck arrived. I will boil the heck out of the mini water, and let it cool to 150, then add in the store water for the boil.

Folks acted crazy for the water. I almost skipped it, but I ended up next to one of the pallet jacks and the guy gave me 4 when I explained I needed it for brewing.
