I am new to the bif realm, but I am an nba junkie. I am proposing a bif with at least 8 teams, and as many as 16 for the nba playoffs. Each person will choose a team, with that person sending the following beer, depending on when it loses in the nba playoffs:
1st round elimination: at least 34 oz. beer, including a local
2nd round: elimination: at least 44 oz beer, including a local
Conference finals: 56 oz beer, including 2 locals
Nba finals: 78 oz, including at least 2 locals.
Beer will be sent to whatever team defeats you, and if you are defeated by a team who is not owned by a group member, it will be in a pool for the eventual winner.

If you pick a team and they don't make the playoffs, you can repick a team if they do not have an owner.

I am a longtime spurs fan and would like to choose the spurs.

In for the Bulls. I will already start to pick out my 56oz to send to whoever picks Miami... :slight_frown:

At this point, I'm just hoping Rose is healthy and it's a good series...

Great pick, really the only team I'm worried about. See you in the finals

To be honest, I'm not a huge basketball fan, but I figure this can keep me busy once the NHL is done.

Theres plenty other good teams, such as the grizz (my sleeper), clippers, lakers, celtics, orlando, houston, philly, and the defending champs, dallas.

My favorite player in the NBA plays for the Clips. I'll take em since my Nuggets have completely imploded.
