Also true-but lack of playoff experience may bite them in the butt. But is also the case with houston.

I'll play! Longtime Rockets fan but since they might not even make the playoffs, I'll take the Lakers.

Was coming in for the Spurs since I figured no one would want the rust bucket old team, but OP has them so just posting to show my support. They are getting pushed to the sidelines in pretty much every way in the media but they keep winning and are looking very dangerous to make a run at the Western Conference. I am a diehard-for life Spurs fan originally from SA so I could never root for another team in the playoffs. Have fun guys!

Thank you for the support. I think the spurs are gunna take it in a lockout year, maybe captain jack helps like back in the day.

I'll take Baylor's women's team. To beat the Bobcats at least. In all seriousness, I live in Boston and they're playing well, so why not right? I'll jump in on this with the Celtics.

I'm in with the Mavs. Just missed my Celtics, but I'll ride Dirk!

Auror- with baylor, you may have a womens team, but that guy who plays center is legit. Good luck with the hometown c's.

    Number45forever- defending champs, bol bill.

No kidding! My alma mater didn't stand a chance last night with that beast in the middle. Maybe the third time will be the charm next year...

Nice to see one running for the NBA, I run the Stanley Cup Playoff BIF annually and actually have a full bracket plus a few.

Do you run an NFL anything?

I'm sure one for the playoffs would be easy to fill, now a full 32 participant league type thing would be cool but the potential for flakes or issues over a season may be a deterrent.

There was an attempt to put together a 32 person NFL pool last year where the loser of each game would send beers to the winner each week. I think it was even with the spread and it never got filled up so it fell through.

I'd probably run it something like division winners get beer from the rest of their division, then playoffs per game with no spread.

It would still be tough to get all the teams filled though. Nobody is going to want to take the Browns, Rams, Colts, etc.

I'll take the Suns if they make it in.
