NBO: EPIC NFL Confidence Pool No. 4

Okay, after some consideration and deliberation, I am bringing back this BIF. It's an NFL pick 'em confidence pool.

HOW IT WORKS

Every week you will pick who you believe will be the winner of every game. We will not be using point spreads, so you pick who you think will win the game outright. You then assign each game a confidence value (1 being the least confident up to the highest number being the most confident, ranging from 13-16 depending on the number of games that week). That's it. Very straight forward.

PAYOUT

This part is very important and some people don't fully read the rules, so pay attention: Each player will be shipping TWO boxes (unless they finish in the season winnings).

Each week whoever has the week's highest point total will be the weekly winner. That player will receive between 1 and 4 small boxes. The number of weekly boxes is determined by how many participants we have:

17-33 players - 1 box
34-50 - 2 boxes
51-67 - 3 boxes
68 - 4 boxes

I will cap this BIF at 68 players. Every player will ship a small weekly box. These boxes are to be 44-72 oz.

We will likely pay out the top 7 or 8 places for the season winnings, depending on how many players we get. I will post a breakdown of boxes once the field is closer to set. Season boxes will be larger than weekly boxes and should fall in the 100-200 oz range.

All targets will be assigned by me. I try my best to make sure winners receive boxes from other regions of the country.

Correct. Some pick em pools have the last place finisher for the week ship, but I don't do that. I try to distribute the beer based by region. I break up the country into 4 regions:

NE
SE
Midwest
West coast

So if you win a weekly, you should hopefully get a box from the three regions you're not in. It's worked out pretty well the last 3 years. This way, you also won't have to ship to me twice when I smoke you! JK. This is a fun BIF. good luck
