NBO-Let Me See your Can Cans 9th Edition--Closing down until Fall

Let me see your CAN-CANS is all about showing other BA's what your local area has for great beer in cans. We all have great breweries near us that have been or are moving to canning for many different reasons. For whatever the reason is that they can it we want to celebrate those cans and your local brewers.

Here we go with the RULES! Read carefully!

1- Min 144 oz No Max destroy some porches! (12 12 oz cans or 9 16 oz) , anything over 144 can be in plastic baggies for all I care. (Don't be that guy)

2- Fresher is better, if you are sending IPA's please nothing older than a few weeks. Look at the can dates people.

3-The box must contain some type of local food item! Peanuts, Popcorn, beef jerky, etc. Cigars are okay as well. A big bonus if this comes in a CAN! (please try and make this artisan if possible, no Ketchup or Hershey if you live in PA or canned clams if you live in Maine)
**(joPlamp you are the exception you can put candy, snack cakes as you are the candyman)

4- Include glassware from your local brewery, extra points if it matches a beer in your box. First instinct is for Pint glasses. I have 500000 of those... lets get creative. Tasters, rocks, specialty.

5- All beers must be produced within 250 miles of your general living city.
-Exceptions can be made to include neighboring states If it is exceptional beer. With all the places canning these days it should be easy
-The spirit of the box should be local!

6-Try to keep wants, and style likes and dislikes in mind

7- Send a box that you would like to receive, Don't complain in any threads about your box. If you truly feel you got a crappy box take it up with me. I will see what I can do.

This is going to be a quick hit, I would like everyone to have their beer by 4th of July weekend.

All boxes should ship no later than July 1st This should be more than enough time and barring good reason and communication any late shippers could be subject to be reported as a bad trader.

I would like to get 30 or so participants. Sign ups open until Friday May 31st.

One dick does not make a BIF..... and I put in the rules not more bitching about beer. LOL

 

Already have a nice core group... who wants to get their cans on!!!

 

Right now we only have 6 people signed up. hope to get at least 10 more to make it worth it. May just scrap the whole thing if we dont.
