3 months isn't too old for PErmanent Funeral... that shit is the shit.

 

Not for me, but the freshest bottle of my local DIPA I could find was 4 months old... I might have to drive over to the brewery.

 

If this is still open, I would be in.

In other news the FedEx app has now over-taken all other apps on my phone as most used.

 

I'm in no matter what, but maybe a wider (or later starting) shipping window? I want to get to a couple local breweries not just find some dusty sixers, and that'll take some time (more accurately, some time after Philly beer week before I'll have a chance to get out again).

 

I am going to drop out. I just have way too much going on right now. Hope this is a great BIF for everyone!

probably close to 100 trades
a SWTFYW Bottle Share in Philly where people came from MA, CT, PA, NJ, FL, CA, MI to name a few
An IP secret santa
about half a dozen babies
a few new houses
but most importantly friends in the beer world!

Original style BIF....

For this example we'll say its a 12 bottle BIF
Box starts with person 1 (We'll say @Haywire )
He fills it with 12 beers
Ships it to any person on the list
Gives hints
Box lands at my house
i open the box take a picture of all 12 beers
Post said picture
Choose 6 bottles (but not tell anyone what 6)
Refill with 6 bottles
Send the new 12 bottle shipper to any other person on the list except Haywire
Haywire receives teh box last and keeps all 12 beers

 

You should join the table. We like fresh meat but srs join. You'll thank me later.

 

And it's bad form to keep all 12 and replace with 12, isn't it? I'd be very tempted to do this. Nevertheless, I'm glad I said I'm in, this is awesome.

 

Part Deuce of SWTFYW BIF in a Box will have updated rules based off of lessons learned from Round 1.

Yeah my bad on that one, didn't mean to threadjack. So, locals... looking forward to bombing someone's porch! While I obviously have my own ideas (and reserve the right to exclusively stick to them), does anyone have any suggestions for Philly locals?
