Since we are into the open discussion thing now, it made you look like a an inconsiderate dick. I'm not saying a huge one...but just a little one. So, if that was what you were going for as a discussion piece, mission accomplished, Mr. Bush.

From an outside, lurker perspective I have to agree with Duffman. The right way to have gone about this if it was really just confusion because of the rules would've been to BM the host of the BIF and get it cleared up with him as its his responsibility to enforce the rules of his BIF. I get that maybe you were just trying to be open and honest about things but that's something you do with trades, not BIFs if you ask me. Someone put as much consideration as they could into putting together a box that they thought would make you ecstatic and your comment just made you seem like an ungrateful prick, more ungrateful than prick but both nevertheless. You made it a public issue instead of the private one that it should've been if the rules were indeed not being followed.

Guys, can we please drop this. Like, now.

The parties involved have talked this over, it was a combination of poor communication, bad wording and a little bit of good 'ol fashioned ignorance. Things have been made right.

I would even appreciate it folks would edit/delete their messages criticizing people involved.

Gladly, but the post will not let me edit. And if the post has to stand, I will state that my previous comment is not reflective of the person's overall character or status as a BA.

Same think with mine, I said it made him seem like what I said, not that he was, since I don't know him at all so I can't be a judge of his character. I just meant to let him know what image of himself he was portraying to someone that read only that post and doesn't know him. It wasn't meant to be an attack but I would also gladly delete/edit it if the forum would let me.

First, you'll have to clue me in on where. Second, does a beer's availability online tank its sexiness? Serious question.

Belgian websites have it from time to time. Its not that it tanks its sexiness, it tanks the value people put on them because they can just buy it themselves instead of giving up beer they're not too sure they wanna give up for it. Most will still jump at the chance of buying it online and buy as much as they can afford, most prefer the buying online route if its available at a fair price...in other words, belgian shops, not eBay.

Makes sense. Apologies to my target, but I'm going to have to go back to the drawing board. Hopefully it's worth it!

I figured out a beer that my target has, but he lacks this year of the bottle. I'm sure he wont mind...

He has been pretty antsy in this thread, I hope he can wait another few days.

I really have no clue who my sender is. Been looking out on my doorstep everyday.

I'm finally mailing my target's box today. The last bottle came in yesterday.

I love all the lou pepe variants, and was only saying it to make sure your aware that if you cant find it on shelves like i cant then theres options to order it and have it shipped to the house although shipping is quite expensive. I still find all the lou pepe sexy along with most other cantillon in general, thats why its my favorite.
