Don't know what a sour beer is then you are in luck. Sours have become my favorite style over the last year and for lots of my friends too. There are plenty of Sour BIFs on BA but usually they require whales and huge boxes...well, this is the sour BIF for the common man.

    Here are the details:
~ 75 oz minimum (3 full sized bombers)
~ Beers must be listed on Beer Advocate as a American Wild Ale, Flanders Oud Bruin, Flanders Red, Gueuze, Lambic - Fruit or Lambic - Unblended only!
~ Beers must have a minimum rating on Beer Advocate of 85 or higher.
~ Noobs are welcomed but will be required to ship out one week earlier than everyone else.

Anyone interested, please respond to this thread, no BMs please. I will be capping this at 20 participants or by February 9th at 12pm EST.

Totally minor but a bomber is 22oz, I think by "full size" you mean a 750ml (25.36oz) bottle?

I'm interested, but it'd be dependent on Berliners being included. Not a ton of sours in FL otherwise, we're sort of the Berliner center of the US lately.

Sorry man but I am not including Berliners. It is not for the hatred of the style but typically they are cheaper than a good sour beer and want to keep this playing as level as possible.

For everyone else, I am not debating your 20 dollar bottle of Berliner that you can get or the prices of any other bottle.

Too bad you're not including them - Florida has some great VERY sour fruity berliners... I'd love to get a box of em.

Yeah, pretty much. And I'm not sure what "cheaper" refers to - I've never seen a BIF with a cost component, but whatever, I'm out. You guys have fun.
