Amen to that. I learned it from my Grandpa, rest his soul, during Michigan football games. I don't think I understood it at the time but he was always predicting complete and udder failure regardless of the situation or opponent. I've become my grandpa at all too early an age!

Anyway, I was considering an emotional hedge when I said I'd take either side, so yeah that works I'll take the muriCANS.

I figure since my final 4 is Germany, Brazil, Spain, and Belgium; Belgium making it to the semis is about the only thing that keeps my bracket doing well compared to everyone else (since everyone seems to have Brazil and Germany, and Spain is already) so this definitely qualifies as a hedge... Besides, worst case scenario, I have an excuse to pay you back for getting me hooked up with White Rajah (and then some).

ps- In the event of a draw, do you want a tiebreaker, a 'both send' or a 'neither send'?

 

There can't be a draw in these rounds. They play an extra amount of set time (30 minutes?) without a sudden death goal. If no one scores, or if the score is still tied after the extra time they go to a shootout.
