    The winner will definitely do very well, but I'm also excited that 5 people will get boxes... I'm very unlikely to do the best, but top 5 is a little more practical.

    This BIF has exploded. I had no idea I'd get 52 members (so far) involved. I was hoping that we'd get enough for a small BIF. 1st place is looking at approx 25 boxes of beer, which is insane.

    WOW! That's insane, I'm not even sure I'd want 25 boxes coming at once, my wife would kill me... who am I kidding, I'd figure it out. OP/consensus rules of course, but what are everyone's thoughts about spreading the love a little more evenly?

    Probably a good idea IMO for a couple reasons. First is that more people get to win and receive beer. The second is that while I would love opening 25 boxes there is no chance I would be able to drink all of the beer that would need to be drank within a decent amount of time like growlers, IPA/DIPAs. Just my .02

    I'm up for changing it. I normally believe winner gets ~50% of pool, but I am willing to change it if that is consensus. I agree that 25 boxes is difficult (not impossible) to consume especially if IPAs. Does anyone feel strongly that the winner should get ~50% of proceeds and would be upset if cut?

    Question is, more than 10% winners, or more boxes to runners up? I'd like to see more winners, I have a hunch that out of 50+, not a lot of us are big into the WC other than casually or "just because there's beer on the line" (this is me), so my guesses are just that, and it'd be nice to think I have a fighting chance.

    Maybe top ten receive boxes;

    1st 15
    2nd 9
    3rd 7
    4th 4
    5th 2
    6-10th 1 each.
    =42 boxes with the top ten out of the equation.

    Just mere speculation. Was using past experiences in competitions (sports wise) where if you win, shit that's awesome.. top 5, great job.. finish top 10, well you did better than everyone else behind you.. and usually after that, it was a pat on the back and better luck next year. But that's just a thought.

    I would be inclined to open it up to more winners, but I'm not running a dictatorship here. I'm for the people. Here is a proposal, like my post if you agree, comment and make suggestions if you disagree. I will assume 60 people for this (we have 53 at the minute.) We will have a little over 2 weeks to hammer something out.

    Let's up the percentage of winners to top 15%. So that will be 9 winners in this scenario, which leaves 51 boxes to be distributed:

    1st - 15
    2nd - 9
    3rd - 7
    4th - 5
    5th - 4
    6th - 4
    7th - 3
    8th - 3
    9th - 1
