    Is anyone following along with their choices? For my answers, I think I'm 7/12 possible points. Go USA! (but let's advance with a 0-0 draw so I can get another point)

    Frankly no, I'm not ... I'm a little bit following my bracket for the World Cup BIF, but to be honest there's too many variables for me to keep track of so far; once it gets a bit further and the picture clearer I'll take a look.

    Or if @PA-Michigander has a google spreadsheet of everyone's answers and the right ones as they are answered, that'd be awesome (I wouldn't even think of asking him to make this, but I assume he figures out the winner this way already anyway it's just a matter of sharing it, since it'd be way too much paperwork to do by hand)

    As the crowds have been clamoring for there is an update after round one. Of course this is all still unofficial as I am a couple local beers deep and have been sipping on a Mango Magnifico trying to figure out if it is too sweet, too hot or a nice blend actually.

    There have been 14 of the 20 questions answered so far with the following answers:

    USA did advance, US scored 4 goals, Yes someone got a hat trick, Messi scored 4+, England DID NOT advance, 19+ shutouts, Group E scored more, Brazil DID win A, 9 teams won 0 games (no one got that right!), Yes a goal was scored in the first 120 seconds, NO Italy, Mexico and Belgium didn't advance, Group F (Nigeria) has the worst seed advance, Yes African Nation advanced and Yes France moved on.

    There is a clear leader right now and that is @Auslander with 11 correct answers. @RichD, @jkrug5, @Houser and yours truly have 9 points a full two behind the leader. If I didn't mention I am not eligible to win.

    A little anticlimactic at this point however there is a winner for this LIF at this point. The winner is @Auslander! He crushed it with his picks and will be the winner for the month! Shoot me your info and I will start working on a box for you!
