Hold the boat people! Got myself a box of indescribable fun today. I promise pictures tomorrow but I'll tell you now that I received not one, not two, not even THREE, but FOUR FREAKING HEADY TOPPERS!!!! Holy ass! Now that I have caught my breath, I can go on to say that a growler full of Rushing Duck IPA and a bomber of Idyltime IPA. Good gracious, clearly I "won" the battle of receiving the most killer box!!!!! Pictures soon!!!!!!

Thank you @cavedave for this amazing box!

I'm going to be getting started on my BIF box today (very soon, in fact). I've got a bottle share tomorrow, and I may bring one of those bottles over (Size 7 IPA). But more importantly, that bottle share will obviously cut into my NBS time at home.

Whatever I drink today, I'll post pics, notes, and reviews tomorrow on the official NBS thread.

Also: @cavedave 4 Heady Toppers??? Way to go, dude! (And I thought sending one Heady was cool!) @gopens44 can enjoy one a week for a month if he likes......or toss them all into a massive punch bowl and have himself a hell of a one-man party.

4 Heady's are great, but the Rushing Duck IPA is nothing to sneeze at
    @cavedave you rocked it

The Rushing Duck growler immediately became my Super Bowl Sunday beer as soon as I saw it - all day drinking that big beautiful thing during the Puppy Bowl AND Super Bowl!

IT was a great NBS. I enjoyed seeing. so many of you crack out some new beers from the boxes that you got porch bombed with.
All in all I would say that this BIF was a success. I hope most, if not all of you are up to doing it again.
    Cheers.

My box was awesome, but can I get @cavedave or @Roguer next round? No, it most certainly does not have anything to do with Heady and I'll thank you for staying out of my personal affairs. (Interesting. Sarcasm and an Ace Ventura reference in one sentence)

So, I know someone else raised a similar question, but I don't recall where it was or what the conclusion was. BiFs are technicallly trades, no? And trading, in particular on this site, puts much stock in reputation and the trust we can place in one another. As such, and in light of the ridiculous box that was sent my direction, I'd really like to leave my man Roger some feedback to continue to boost his (already sterling) reputation. n00b question time: how do I do that?

I see that the site keeps statistics on people's trades, much akin to ebay, and monitors feedback that way, but I don't know how to input my praise. Any insight (I already know it's going to be something obvious and I'll be kicking myself for not being able to figure it out on my own...)?

    Thanks!

I had asked one of the site mods this^^^^^^ it seems the only way to do it is request a trade of the person then they'll have to fake their side of it? Doesn't make sense to me though

I was wondering this, as well, so I could leave feedback. It was address further up that it makes sense to go ahead and leave feedback, but I personally haven't figured out how yet (for a one-sided trade). I guess the feedback note could mention that ("For BIF purposes only; I didn't send anything," or something to that effect). Imperfect, and would seem like gaming the system a bit, so hopefully there's a better answer out there coming through the tubes.

You could always send a small "thank you" box? I guess that defeats the purpose of the BIF. Technically that just means it's a reverse BIF?

    It's a BIF in a BIF in a BIF....

Also on another note, does anyone have any idea on Gandhi bot release? It says rotating on the site, but I was wondering if one of the New England BA's here has any more info. I'm looking for some because I have a friend who collects cans. I would like to get a hold of some before they change the label. Just let me know. (I know wrong forum, but you guys probably have the info i want and I feel lazy)

From what I've heard they have a butt load of cans they have to fill , so maybe soon maybe call it a loss?? Check in the New England forum there's one in there all about it

Thank you boxes aren't expected or the norm but they do happen, right @superspak ? I'm involved in the Locals thread now and that started as a BIF and with all the thank you, revenge, ninja, LIF, and subsequent locals boxes flying around it's basically a long running BIF that never ends (over 12,000 posts and counting). It's actually a good time, check it out if you get a chance and you enjoyed this thread.

I had so much fun dabbling with the hints, and guessing, watching people figure out who was sending to who, etc...I particularly liked it when people missed obvious clues (me). Yes, I'm looking at you @WesMantooth !!!
Overall, @beertunes and @LehighAce06 made this so friendly for us noobies.
Now, I just need to get photobucket going so I can post pics....I feel like a douche for not posting the lovely pic I have of the MAD OHIO BOX I rec'd from @WesMantooth !!!
