NBS BIF #1 hints

well spent my morning hung over and going thru all the clues with a little checklist I made. looks like I can for sure cross 8 of you off the list, but I have 7 maybees?? that still leaves 10 unaccounted for ?? god I hate drinking on Christmas, I feel like I got hit by a semi

 

Haven't held me up - I am waiting until beginning of first week of January to make sure one of the items is one fresh ass bitch!

 

Hint #2 (yes, late to posting several hints......in laws were visiting.....)
My target joined BA 6 days prior to my 12th wedding anniversary

My target's average rating for all beers reviewed or rated on BA is between 3.96 and 4.01

Anyone on the east coast excited to try some Ohio stuff? Well, hopefully someone else in our distro has you, because mine is going west.

 

Hint #1 - My target lives in a state I've been to more than once but in a city I've never been to or even through.
Hint #2 - I'm shipping in a westerly direction.
Hint #3 - My target's first and last name begins with letters in the first half of the alphabet.
Hint #4 - My target lives east of the Rocky Mountains.
Hint #4.5 - My target has posted on this thread at least once.
Hint #5 - The three beers I have locked in to send so far (I'll probably end up sending 6-8) are rated 95, 95, and 97 on BA and are all brewed within 80 miles of my home. Two are actually brewed within 18 miles of my house.
Hint #5.5 - I've settled on a 4th beer to send. It's rated 93 on BA and I've yet to have it so I'm buying two. The brewery where this beer is made is less than 75 miles from my house. My target has had multiple beers from this brewery based on his profile, this is the only brewery that I plan on sending that my target has had a beer from as far as I can tell.
Hint #6 - My target will be getting a nice piece of glassware in his shipment, and he should be ok with that.
Hint #7 - My target lives very close to a cross country roadway that I grew up close to.

Hint #8 - My target has fewer ratings/reviews than I do on BA.

 

not really a hint but....... so far my target's getting 81oz. of local beer + 37oz. of beer in his/her wants. like I said SO FAR !!!! porch.... kaboom

hint #5 ?? one of the beers in my targets want list is from an awesome brewery down south that we don't get distro here in CT. but... I have my parents mule me back some everytime they go south

gotta keep em vague for another week, then all bets are off

 

#3 My beeree has had some Ohio IPAs (in fact it was from a 2 word brewery), but not one of the better one they are going to get.


* If you use your "want" list (I use mine to remind me of things I want to try) you might want to make sure it is up to date. I just about selected one for my target, but cross referenced his list and he has already had it. Actually, I found 2. I would have felt like a dick... unless it is there on purpose because you want more?

 

Hint #3 from me- my target's state is located somewhere south of NYC (approx 41° N latitude).

My target's local pro football team has a QB on the roster that was on my college football team while I was at school.

 

Best hint yet. My target's state is mentioned, occasionally, in nostalgic reference during the holiday just passed.

 

Hint #4- a few of the beers I will be sending are being hand-delivered to me from PA, some time prior to my shipping deadline. My target seems to be one who will really appreciate these beers.

 

Of the hints given out so far, I had one person who I thought might be mine - but was denied (or "misdirected") with the latest hint. I have excluded 4 others at this point. There are only a few that have posted that could be mine, given the vague hints (I could still be my own, given that criteria).

Hint #3.5: my favorite sports team may not be a pro team
Hint #4: (confirming-ly useful) as expected, my unrepresented "state" is not bordering the state to which I am sending
Hint #5: (warning, math involved!!) anyone who has more than 500 points more than my beers + "karma" points as of this post can count themselves out (my math says that's 4 of you).

Info #2: I have not completed my beer searching

Info #3: picking up a fairly highly touted beer at local brewery for the package right now.
