Yes sir. A fresh load of King Sue, Pseudo Sue, and Pompeii hit my local today.

If you follow the Pennsylvania Turnpike and the Ohio Turnpike west, you'll hit the Indiana Toll Road. I live a couple of miles from the toll road. If you come this way, we will have an epic bottle share, my treat.

I’ve picked up PseudoSue and Pompeii in SEPA recently. Still haven’t found King Sue yet.

If you want some King Sue, let me know, I'll send it your way.

    Hint #8

First strike passed through Boiler territory.
    Now it’s in Buckeye land.
    To its target tomorrow.

Thanks, but since they distribute here now, I’m keeping my fingers crossed I’ll run into it in some point over the next year or so.

    I’ve been hit .....

My apologies for not posting sooner, but after this 34 lb cannonball from that beer nerd extraordinaire @larryi86 crushed my porch about 90 minutes ago, I’ve been soliciting advice from structural engineers to determine if the entire house needs to be rebuilt. What a whopper!

Before I can explore the box, my K9 patrol must complete his inspection to ascertain that this box is indeed safe (and if it contains any doggie treats) .....

To Ranger’s chagrin, no doggie treats, so after paying his K9 patrol fee in Milkbones, I have the opportunity to dig into the box. First thing I notice - it’s BIG .....

(I could go with “TWSS” jokes all day) ..... and it’s impeccably designed to safely ship a f*cking boatload of beer .....

    This thing’s simply and incredibly efficiently designed. There’s four 750’s, a 500, eight pints, a 375, a 12 ozer, two decadent fruit pies, a 6-bottle tote, stickers, and a wonderful glass .....

..... and everything is PRISTINE. I’m flummoxed. I packed my box, it looked like two 3rd graders that had spent a little too much time in the glue department in art class had packed it. This looks like it came down a highly automated assembly line in the greatest beer factory ever.

But I digress. The lineup from left to right, 3 rows of beer, then the accoutrements .....

    Back Row
    - 2SP Brewing Bourbon The Russian (RIS)
    - 2SP Brewing The Russian (RIS)
    - Tired Hands Quaggy (Saison)
    - 2SP Brewing Fuzzy Math (Sour aged in Mezcal barrels)
    - Tired Hands Pourison (Saison)

    Middle Row
    - Allagash Cuvée d’Industrial (Wild Ale)
    - Wilmington Brew Works Organic Amplitude (APA)
    - Tired Hands Passion Fruit Lychee Coconut Milkshake IPA
    - Wilmington Brew Works Chaotic Tranquility (NEDIPA)
-Tired Hands Orange Lazarus Milkshake IPA

    Front Row
    - 2SP Brewing Up, Up, & Away (NEDIPA)
    - 2SP Brewing Imperial Shade (Imperial Black IPA)
    - 7% ABV Mystery Beer
    - Tired Hands Alien Church (IPA)
    - Dogfish Head Raison D’Extra (Belgian Strong Dark Ale)

In front and back of the beer are an awesome Tired Hands tote, some cool Tired Hands stickers, a peach and an apple Tastykake fruit pie that look DELICIOUS (Joy is eating the peach pie as I type and LOVES it, Ranger is getting little bites and drooling everywhere - good times indeed), and an uber cool Beerthday Bacchanalia glass.

I’m amazed at the generosity shown by @larryi86 . All the beers are new to me (which can be a challenge as I am ..... an opportunistic beer nerd), and this is an incredible assortment. My exposure to Tired Hands has been extremely limited, and Alien Church has been a long-time want. You will see that fo shizzle in this Sunday’s NBS, along with the Mystery Beer.

That I’ve not yet had Raison D’Extra is one of life’s mysteries, because I’ve had lots of DFH stuff, love it all, and am fairly certain I’ve had a chance to pick this up before. Now it is mine.

The Allagash - classic. Can’t wait to try it. And 2SP and Wilmington are both new to me, and from the bit of research I’ve done, will really enjoy their stuff.

Wow. Just wow. What a haul. And here’s a tidbit of beer nerdery that is so fitting: Larry and I joined BeerAdvocate two days apart in April 2010. It’s a small beer nerd world indeed.

I know, tl;dr. But this is a pretty amazing haul. Thanks so much, Larry. Now excuse me - I have some structural steel to rebuild.

@larryi86 I concur: not only an incredible box, but easily one of the most "professional" packing jobs I've ever seen! I was envious before I ever saw the contents!!!

I've been hit! A massive box wrecked my porch just now.

I believe the sender must be @Ozzylizard although there is no note. Apologies if I got it wrong!

A mix of very intriguing stuff here, haven't had a lot of Hoppin' Frog so these are exciting. Voodoo is new to me, and there's a nifty looking mystery beer here as well. Here comes the really nutty part of this box though:

A whole bunch of pumpkin brews! Pumpkin beer is one of things that I don't usually go out and buy for myself so these are all new ticks for me. (Might've had a sip of rumpkin before, not sure.) I'm taking this as a challenge to expand my horizons, and all these look top-tier so I'm expecting greatness. I'm very excited!

Cool box with a lot of new ticks and looks like I will be drinking really well this weekend. Thanks Bob!

In other news, I wasn't expecting the boxes to go flying quite so soon and I am trying to lock down another couple of bottles this weekend for my victim. Should be shipping on Monday. As usual I will be attempting to test the integrity of my target's porch and spinal column with the heaviest box possible.

Sorry I forgot the note - shit happens. Next box will have food, swag, etc. Since you have zero beers rated/reviewed I was kind of at a loss to figure what to send you - I usually send some Jester King stuff but since you live in Texas... Anyhow, I went with some of my local favorites with low/no national distro. I thought the selection of pumpkin brews were pretty tasty examples of what has become a pretty dismal style. Anyway, enjoy!

I’m guessing he’s my sender, so maybe I’ll get one of those cool boxes, too. Seems more convenient than a twelve-shipper.

I'm glad you didn't send JK, my wife and I hoard the stuff! Yeah I am always excited to try some new local brews, the most fun thing about BIFs for me is the discoveries. Sorry about the lack of info, I do all my checkins on Untappd.
