    Which North Carolina breweries makes the best hazy/New England style IPAs?

    Bonus points for statewide or near statewide distribution.

    I'll start: Burial. Heist, New Anthem, Resident Culture

    Newgrass - Fiddler’s Dream is the best NEIPA I’ve had from NC
    Fonta Flora - some nice offerings lately. I’ve Changed, specifically

    High Branch, Hopfly, Funguys, Forgotten Road, Casita, Wilmington Brewing, Percent Taphouse, New Origin

    How does one judge these beers' quality? Price? Untappd ratings? Online hype?

    And I agree with the recommendations of HopFly, Heist, Burial, New Anthem, Wilmington Brewing, Resident Culture, and High Branch.

    Casita makes enjoyable ones but I don’t always see an NEIPA offering available from them.

    Agreed - I have only tried a couple from them but find them to be less accessible around the state (I was filtering my answer for the statewide or near statewide availability/distribution).

    New Anthem and Burial are tops for me. Then DSSOLVR, Resident Culture, Heist, Wilmington Brewing, New Origin (but they're Asheville only AFAIK)

    it's a trick question, there are no good Hazy IPA's...:sunglasses:

    Though, in my limited experience with Hazy's, Burial and Dssolver are among the better ones I've tried.
