My son just bought a house near Charlotte and I will be helping him move down there Memorial Day weekend. I should have some free time on Sunday before flying back up to NY and I was wondering if stores can sell beer to go on Sundays in Charlotte? Thanks for any info you can provide.
Yup. It's just ABC (liquor) stores that can't sell. Brawley's and Salud appear to be open on Sundays.
They can and will. I'm just moving here myself from NYC. I would check specific stores for hours. At least one shop, Good Bottle, is closed on Sundays.
Thanks for the info. I'm only going to buy a few beers that my son will ship to me, as I'm flying back home. I'll probably drive down there late summer/early fall and grab more beers that we don't get up north. I'll be sure to post before I go down there to get info on beer bars and good stores.
