FT WnB was legit tough. Came and went with the quickness. I got one and it took some doing.

    To name a few:

    Drie Fonteinen Zwet.be
Anchorage is returning with The Tide and Its Takers and Galaxy
    Upright #7
Crooked Stave St. Bretta Autumn is landing tomorrow along with their incarnation of Table Beer

No news on Jolly Pumpkin or Cantillon as of yet.
With Prairie in SC, theyre only a stone's throw away.

May have gotten word that a local distributor picked up the Spencer Abbey Ale out of MA.

Upright 7 kinda sucked IMO, as did 6. Of all of them (4-7), 5 is the only one I'd buy again. Definitely want to try some of the Anchorage stuff though.

I love saisons, but on the whole it seems like a lot of this Shelton Bros stuff is one and done type of stuff. Meaning that I'll try it just to tick it and then never buy again just because it's pricier than it's worth by a long shot.

Cantillon or Drie Font? LOL I'll believe it when I see it.

Not saying you're wrong, I'm just saying it seems like with all this Shelton Bris so far all we've gotten is the shittiest stuff by each respective brewery. When I think Drie Font I don't usually think porter, but that's cool if people want it more power to them.

I found it to be very good, you would like if you like Lindley park

me either, but Im assuming that were going to have to bear with second and third tier options for awhile until th good stuff shows up in the second and third shipments.

I mean you dont normally see breweries enter with their big guns blazing.

Olde Hickory's Lindley Park is out and still available if you poke around a bit. The Event Horizon arrives shortly, with new glow in the dark labels... and Omega Point is still promised, their anniversary blend of barrel aged goodness. They've been discussing an actual brewery release for OP.

I'm just a few miles outside Charlotte - I was able to get BCBS with a little effort. Coffee was gone the second it hit & vanilla (from what I've been told from the guys @ Salud) didn't make it here. There is no second wave coming - again, per my sources.

    In other news....

Founders is releasing Blushing Monk again next year in their Backstage Series.

The last two Wicked Weed releases, Capricious and Divergence, were both very good IMO. Probably still some of those hanging around places.

Keep an eye out for Duck Rabbits Barrel Aged Anarchy, their 10th anniversary release. Should be hitting shelves starting monday.

Awesome info - do you guys know if dark horse double barrel plead the fifth is a MI only release? Also, beer study in Carrboro has an insane tap list from their stout event from yesterday - including BCBS that they ran through a Randle with coffee beans - super tasty.

I'm pumped for event horizon release - is that gonna be one bottle limits like LP?

Also If u haven't tried them - Triple C bba up all night and Mother Earth silent night are delicious!

BB Plead the 5th is brewery-only, so I assume the DB version will be as well, since it's even more limited. They definitely don't make it here.

Event Horizon will be as many as you want, they make a ton of it and I'm sure it will sit around for a while.

Dried up in Asheville, and I missed it. Thankfully there are other options for BA stouts.

You're awfully close to Hickory, there's still a lot there.

I've heard that there is a rum barrel Event Horizon this year too. Can anyone confirm that?
