Had a Throwing Shade followed by a Julius. I freaking love Julius. Throwing Shade won this round.

High Branch in Concord has one called Big Sister, west coast style that is simcoe dominant if you're into that....I very much am. Its the best one I've had from them so far. West coast IPAs are not dead folks.

Had a Pernicious on draft a couple of days ago and forgot how good it is. (yeah yea, WW is the devil, etc). I'm curious if AB will start brewing it in their locations.

Agree, but I could never get over the pretentious 11.2 oz bottles.

I liked the new Bond Brahs one “Slight Obstruction.” A lot there for 5.5%.

I got to try Burial's Surf Wax and it was just so insanely drinkable. When I have something like that or Maine's Another One, it reminds me that I definitely prefer that style to the hazy softness that I've enjoyed recently.

I've heard rumors Pernicious is getting canned next year. Supposed to be ramping up production to get it in the grocery store market.

They are bottling Freak now too - 4 packs of 12 oz bottles coming to your nearest grocery store soon!!! I am doubtful it will the Freak I sought out - likely similar to what happened to Sculpin after scale up. I will stay hopeful though.......

Really dig the Lynnwood 2nd anny IPA. Pretty hazy for them, 7.0% and lots of tropical fruit notes.
