Making a very similar trip this week starting on Wednesday. Anyone have any insight on the best way to store some double sunshine on Thursday???

Get to the Warren Store early. I'd call and ask when their delivery time has been, and be there a good bit ahead of that. They may be doing something special since DS hasn't dropped in a while. Again, worth a call. They don't seem to mind.

Alternatively, Hunger Mountain is doing 1/per, but you have to go and come back or hang around for a while:

Think there will be time to grab heady at hunger mountain AND still make it the warren still for the Lawson's?

I'll be up there on Thursday morning myself. I was just looking to get some Heady but scoring some DS would be an added bonus if I can make it happen.

Depends on the delivery time at the Warren Store, but my guess would be no. If Warren Store is also going to be 1/per, you're probably best off getting to Hunger Mountain early early to get both Heady and a card good for a DS later. If Warren Store is being more generous, and/or you don't want a case of Heady, I'd head there and then browse around headyspotter.com for other Thursday or Friday deliveries.

It's worth a reminder that there is a TON of good beer in VT that goes beyond Alchemist/Lawson's/HF, and much of it will be on shelves at HM and Warren Store.

Thanks again for the help in this thread. I'll post a more extensive summary of the trip soon. For now I'll just leave this here, I believe it represents at least one of every unique beer acquired during the trip.

That really is some haul! Did you trade for stuff? I see two different OH releases and two different Grimms. Is that Lush by Frost Beer works? That beer is amazing.

Huuuuge share? My fiance and I are doing a 12 day trip through NE starting next Friday and the weekend we get back, we're inviting a bunch of our beer drinking friends over to enjoy our haul.

Splitting most of it with others, starting with growlers first. But I am fine with cans under 12 weeks, and we plan to get through everything within that time.

We did, multiple IP trades throughout the trip. I preferred variety over significant multiples of any one beer.

And yes, picked up the Lush at Hunger Mountain Coop, bottled less than a week from purchase! Looking forward to that one.

Frost Beer Works is excellent. Please don't tell anyone. For all the crap those of us in New England get about hype, I really wish nobody outside of the area had ever heard of most of our beers.
