I saw Arvon available in crowler at a Shell gas station on Woodward between 13 and 14 on Saturday. It was a saison but shows they are getting there stuff out to the east side of the state.

Barrel and Vines I believe its called. Closet spot by my cousin's house for me to get Arvon, last year when I was down state actually. It is honestly one of the best beer stores around as well from what I could tell. Crowlers and growlers are pretty pricey tho.

Love the beer name, which seems to play on one of my favorite Grateful Dead albums and one of my favorite beer styles.

HOMES and Wax Wings continue to be the tip top for me in Michigan. Tidal and Weave from the latest HOMES release are both great, especially Tidal for me - big juicy melon and honey with a great thick, smooth body. Wax Wings Double NNazareth may be the best DIPA in Michigan, and enjoyed The Pursuit the other day as well.

Enjoyed Murking Man Blues from AB, thought it had a thinner body than usual that allowed more of the hop juice to shine.

It's not a NEIPA, but thought I'd mention having the Speciation All Together wild IPA and thinking it was the best thing I've tasted all year.

Completely agree with the HOMES love. That last release was about perfect to me. All those beers are perfect for this time of year I feel like. That Tidal was so tropical tasting to me and I thought Weave was really good but probably will enjoy it even more in a week or so. This round of Cynosure was another homerun as well.

Need to get my hands on some Wax Wings again been enjoying Arvon since I can get it delivered but sounds like I need to make a trek over to Kzoo for them since they have not been doing their distro to the A2 area since corona.

That Speciation beer sounds great, definitely need to keep an eye out for that.

I was able to get some Wax Wings and HOMES on my trip back to MI a couple weeks back. Unfortunately, only one canning was available that weekend from Wax Wings. I got She the Queen, and have to say it's one of my favorite triple IPAs I have had. I really tend to only like triple IPAs from Other Half, but this one was incredibly smooth, yet still let you know it was a triple. I'd like to try more from them, so may need to find a trading partner looking for stuff from Chicago.

HOMES was a bit of a mixed bag though. I got cans of Stratum, Collateral and Same Same Different. I'd had SSD before, and it was solid, but a notch below what I recall it being. Collateral was the best of the bunch for sure, with a good blend of citrus juice and bitterness. Stratum was just a bit too rough around the edges, so that was a bit of a letdown. I also got a growler of Intersect, which I enjoyed a good deal. Also had Low Lines, which was a fine lager, but not somethign that stood out. Still good beers overall, but was expecting a bit more based on how much I liked them the past couple years. I'll continue checking them out as I make it back that way for sure, though.

The latest release of Ellison’s You Can Get With That....Juice is on point. As good as any IPA you will find in Michigan.

The NEIPA and just the craft market in general has been terribly bland and unchanging up here for about 3-4 months... My Wisconsin trips for beer have become alot more frequent, and unfortunately it means I have put very little money into local beer shops. Arvon, Homes,or Transient really need to start sending something fresh and simple into to market to recharge the energy.

Old Nation Tart Strawberry M43, picked up 4 pack today. Really enjoying this year's release. Will probably grab another 4 if it sits around.

Did you have the previous releases? If so was it more like the first one or the last one? For me the additional flavor was very subtle in the first release. The last release was very tart, too overpowering in my opinion.

Agreed, I was really let down last year.

Excited to run up to Transient tonight for latest Moon Money. One of my low key favorites and I haven't seen it around since early spring.

First time having Tart Strawberry M43, better than I expected. Really reminds me of a Milkshake IPA, not very tart in my opinion, more of a smooth mouth feel. Glad I grabbed a 4 pack.
