Looking for a good place near The Mutter in Philly. Would prefer walking distance, but anything close would be good
Jose Pistola's has killer burritos and other mexican food along with good beer. Monk's is a block from there too.
You've gotten good advice thus far, between Monks and Tria Taproom and some of the others listed in the Philly tap finder link above, you should be covered Enjoy your trip to Mutter, been a while since I've done that, about due. Also, Eastern State Penitentiary (non-Halloween) is a worthwhile and educational tour as well if you're on that side of town
If you head to Monks make sure you stop at Good Dog. Great burgers and tap list. I'd highly recommend eating/drinking before the Mutter museum though. You might not have much of an appetite by the time you leave there.
