Any word on a release? I was hoping it might be out before the release of Rogue One next week. I know last year it didn't make it before The Force Awakens and if I recall didn't make it out until late Dec/early Jan?
They posted on fb before Thanksgiving that it will be available for Christmas. It implied brewery can release but did not come straight out and say that. This would be a first for them if it is brewery only. It has always been a distribution beer in the past.
Thanks for the info, I missed it on their FB. Bummed if it's brewery only this year. My sis in law lives in Norwich and has usually been able to snag one for me. I'll keep my eye out and if it does indeed end up being brewery only, would really appreciate anyone willing to help with a trade for just a single can.
Guess I'll answer my own question for anyone else interested. Saw a post on NEB Facebook that cans of IST will be available at the brewery starting next week, and I got email confirmation from Rob at NEB that cans should arrive in stores this week. I'll enjoy my last can from last year before Rogue One on Thurs and put any cans I can get from this year away for later enjoyment.
Started hitting stores in new haven county yesterday. Sounds like its pretty limited for distro, big stores only getting one case
Has that been an regular event? I got a BA bottle a few years back - think it was a 500ml bottle or something like that. Wasn't sure if that was the only release or if they've had other BA IST releases since. She is a great sister in law, but since she lives in Norwich and works in Boston, unfortunately don't think it's fair to ask her to go.
Yeah it's every year iirc. Last years released February 20th. One of the better BA stouts I had last year.
