NEBCO beers at the brewery?

    I'm headed north form NYC this weekend, and was planning to stop in at NEBCO along the way. I've never been to the brewery before and I'm wondering what they usually stock on hand. I know I've missed the Fuzzy Ducks by a week, which is too bad, but do they uusally have an interesting tap or is it just the regular offerings?

    The only way to be sure about what will be on in a week is to call the brewery and ask. They almost always have Sea Hag, and there's a good chance that by then they'll have a fresh batch of Gandhi-Bot on for growler fills.

    The last time I was there (Friday for Fuzzy Baby Ducks) they also had Scrumtrulescent Saison and 668, but I don't know whether those will hang around much longer.

    If you have a facebook, they update their page pretty regularly with their growler offerings.

    FYI, I just got a text from the brewer saying that Gandhi probably wouldn't be ready until "next week." Saturday is certainly still a possibility, but you'll definitely want to check before heading up regardless.

    I appreciate the info and I'll keep my fingers crossed. It's part of a longer trip, so I'll be stopping in regardless. Maybe hit them up on the way back if we miss out this weekend.

    by the way, i'd suggest stopping in at amity wine and spirits when you're there. it's not better than new beer distributors or whole foods bowery, but it's one of the better beer stores in CT.

    also, if you're at NEBCO around lunch or dinner time, prime 16 is great. cask republic decent too. i like prime 16's atmosphere, food, and (usually) beer selection better, but at the moment they seem to be over-celebrating the arrival of green flash, sixpoint, and clown shoes into CT distribution.

    Last time I was down someone let me get a try of some speedway stout so I figured I would bring a sang noir, Juliet, or something cool from the cellar to repay them. I'm undecided on what time, but I have the day wide open so if people really wanna share stuff I could get there anytime.
