i picked some up around 3~4pm today. would be surprised if it's all gone by tomorrow or the next day, but it seems to be pretty popular already. i should have asked how much they made.

this beer is so damn good that i'm tempted to screw over my best friend and drink the growler i bought for him ._.

Any idea what their future plans are for this beer? Will it eventually be bottled?

they were talking like it was 1-time only, but i'd imagine that if everyone reacts to it like i am, they'd make it again.

maybe the availability of ingredients is prohibitive... otherwise, i think there's going to be a surge of "make it again!!" that they'll listen to.

I know they said they were lucky to get the Citra they got and ended up using almost 75% of it on this batch. If you like it, be sure to let them know. That's how Gandhi-Bot got into rotation.

    It was good.
SWMBO liked my homebrew better :sunglasses: .

Fuzzy Baby Ducks is a one time brew this year. According to the gents at NEB they will do another Citra Hop IPA next year again once they get those hops in. I was told that you have to order Citra close to a year in advance. Im sure if enough people rave about FBD they will make it again or at least I hope so.

Yea! Got my growlers of Fuzzy Baby Ducks! Was there for 5 minutes get the growlers filled and they got 4 calls asking if they had FBD and three more people showed up after me. They don't expect it to last till tomorrow.

We're tapping Fuzzy Baby Ducks next Thursday at 8PM with the guys from NEBCo at Prime 16 (along with some other newer styles). With that said, I don't think we are only one of two bars to get it.

I was just at the brewery, and saw them put on the penultimate half-barrel for growler fills. I'll be shocked if the last two kegs last through tomorrow - it was about as busy as I've ever seen the place.

While it's sad that growlers are almost gone, the consolation prize is that more than half the batch got put in logs and casks; it should be popping up at the usual locations before too long. I know there'll be a cask at Mikro on Wednesday, and of course Prime the following night.

It is with regret that I inform you all the last Fuzzy Baby Duck available at NEBCO was pronounced dead at approximately 1:45pm today, 6/23/2012. Ducks are survived by Sea Hag and Scrumwhatever saison. They will be remembered fondly.

I literally walked in to get davey101 a growler and watched the last growler being poured for an elderly gentleman. After that growler was poured they turned around and wiped it off the board. So whoever sent your grandfather over, you scored .

well, I'm glad I didn't wait...I guess now we can look forward to their Nelson Sauvin hopped Coriolis DIPA being released. They have been killing it with their single hop beers lately.

oof, i was going to try getting him a growler on sunday (and another for myself).

fucking awesome beer. edit: yeah they mentioned the nelson sauvin DIPA when i was there too. big fan of that hop (though i like citra more), e.g. in fresh anchor humming ale.

So is that the beer that is going to replace it on tap or is it going to be a different one?

just said "coming soon" on the board, but from how they were talking a couple days ago i got the impression that it hadn't been brewed yet.

obviously, someone correct me if they just threw the DIPA on right away, but i don't think it's ready yet.

Re: Coriolis, they're still waiting on the hops to arrive from New Zealand, get pelletized, and then shipped to CT. I wouldn't expect that beer any time before August. There should be one more batch of Gandhi-Bot coming out this coming week, though, with cans destined for RI.
