That Bot had to be old.I can't stand a sweet and malty D.I.P.A.

G-Bot is barely on shelves here at the moment.(I'm very local)

I think its safe to say any bot lingering in NY most likely has some time on it.

For anyone wondering about the availability of Bot,give the fine gents. at NEBCo. some time. They will make everything all better soon. They were wiped out of everything pretty much at the brewery last week.Lack of Bot isn't the only problem.

    Cheers All.....

I am traveling through CT this weekend and will need beer for my final destination, if I pull off somewhere in CT will Bot be readily available at any package store? Any other NEBCo I should keep my eyes peeled for? Looking for IPA/IIPA.

Gandhi Bot is pretty much never readily available at package stores. You have to either luck into it at a shop, and I don't think there's been a distribution that would still be hanging around as of this weekend, or go to the brewery. They are putting it on for growler fills as of today so it is likely to last until the end of the week if you make a stop there.

Asides from that their IPA, Sea Hag, is readily available pretty much all of the time at stores and is a solid offering if not as impressive as Gandhi happens to be.

    Mmmm....no.

I'd take Torpedo over Bot any day, and thankfully, it's always sitting on the shelf and ready for me! And for less money!

again, obtaining the bot will be very tough. and any that are left on shelves may be old. you can usually pick up seahag, 668, and the pills at any store that carries nebco.

Gandhi is currently on tap at the brewery. Assuming it lasts till Saturday (they are not open Sunday), that will be your best bet. My local store got Gandhi on Friday and sold out in 3 hours. So finding on the shelves in CT is tough.

I have a buddy that gets it all the way up in buffalo yet they don't distribute to other NE states...he says it's fairly easy to come by up there but I know that wouldn't be the case if it were back in mass.

It was difficult enough to come by 3 years ago when I was in school in Rhode Island.

Gandhi Bot is amazing in my opinion.

I'd like to add that I have seen very old Gandhi Bot on the shelves. About 18 months ago my friend and I found some that was like 9 months old. Since then however, I have never seen the Bot anywhere in RI. Seems like they sent us too much a couple years ago and none ever since. I'm bummed, because as I said, the stuff was magnificent.

While they didn't officially pull out of R.I.,I believe they simply haven't shipped there in a while being that they can't keep CT. stocked up.

    Cheers

I didn't think it was anything special myself. That was quite a bit ago though. I'd like to have another crack at it to either debunk or verify.

Right up there with the best nose of any beer I've had. One of my favorite DIPA's and I can't get enough of it.

I rated it a 3.25 almost 2 years ago based on a four pack I acquired. I thought it was decent but missed why it's so revered. Seems having a differing opinion is just so "lol".

yes on the code and I have no idea how to decode it either. I'm sure if you FB nebco they'll tell you.

It's possible the code on the can is just a code put on by the manufacturer of the can that has nothing to do with canning dates.
