I've been on the lookout for Fuzzy Baby Ducks lately but I don't know a ton about what these trade for. Anyone have any insight- including people who would be potentially trading them next time it's on tap? Also interested in growlers of other NEBCO IPA offerings, but I'd definitely like to try FBD. Cheers
They brew FBD like twice a year. I would guess the next time it comes out will be close to the end of the year. If I were you, I would seek out Coriolis. They just put that on today. It's all Nelson, and it's better than FBD. Lines were 3 hours like if Ducks was on. Plus, it should last into next week.
I traded a St. Lam for a 64 oz growler of FBD to a regular trading partner. He waited in line for hours for the growler and gave me some nice extras. Coriolis was worth seeking out, but I was more wowed by FBD. Citra is my favorite hop though.
Steve, I traded a Huna for a 64oz growler of FBD. It was worth every penny in that trade. Your best bet is to 'like' NEBCO on facebook, and then turn notifications on for them. You'll get alerts when they post updates, including what's on tap, merchandise availability, etc. FBD causes 3+ hour lines, and the last batch kicked after about 1 & 1/2 hours of operation, so like 3-7 Thursday and half that Friday
Could someone please post if these trades get done, just out of curiosity. Thank you kindly! FBD is my unicorn
Shhhh. You're absolutely correct but don't tell anybody. Let the FBD hype continue to spiral out of control. I'd hate to see my beloved Coriolis reach that same level of fanfare. Yes the line was crazy on Saturday when they first put it on tap but they put it back on today and there were only maybe about 25 people in line when I left around 3:40. Everybody was safely inside the building. That would never be the case with FBD.
